What an amazing 5 days spent at the Harbour Masters House!! 5 adults and 5 children were in our party and the space was unbelievable. House was spotless, lots of little home from home comforts and games for the kids, the beach accessories were a massive hit, saved us a small fortune. Beds were comfortable, towels and bed linen were of great quality. 3 bathrooms were a bonus too. Loved having our morning coffee from the sitting room window watching over the harbour. Will certainly be looking to book again for next year.
We stayed here for a week from the 7th to 14th August 2020. What a find! The house has been brilliantly modernised and just keeps giving. There are fantastic views of the sea and harbour from two of the large bedrooms at the front and also from the lounge which easily seats 10 ( we were 4 adults with a two year old and an 8 year old).All the beds were really comfortable, the kitchen well equipped with an American style freezer, the showers and baths were great and the whole house is cool with High ceilings. Walk through the front door and you are in a long hall with clothes pegs and buckets and spades, a beach cricket set, tennis balls and rackets and two sets of boules. The next floor has a toilet, bathroom with shower and toilet, two beach chairs and three sets of windbreaks and mallet. The lounge has two chairs at the front window and table, great for sitting and enjoying the harbour view. The kitchen is on this floor. On the second floor is a front double bedroom with a great couch, a cot, plenty of drawers but still large and airy. There is another bedroom with two single beds, a small lounge with a PlayStation, enjoyed in the morning by our Grandson while waiting for us to get up, a good bathroom with bath and separate shower. On the top floor is a lovely suite with another double bed, two comfortable chairs with a table and that wonderful harbour view. There is a bathroom with shower over the bath, another double bedroom and a further bedroom with two single beds.
There is a Costcutters 2 minutes away and a Tesco within 7 minutes walk. We enjoyed this so much we have immediately booked for next year.
